Video case for multi underwater camera connections
This is the solution for the user who wants to connect several underwater video cameras to the same monitor. LH Camera has developed a new system that allows the user to connect up to four underwater cameras to the case. With the new inbuilt video split processor you can now select the screen display according to the number of cameras that are connected to the case. For example, if you connect three cameras, you can choose a display setup that shows all three video images on the screen in equally large formats.
The case has an inbuilt 12.1” monitor in the lid which is available as either sunlight-readable or the normal high-brightness 450 CD monitor. All our inbuilt monitors in the cases are equipped with protective glass on the screen.
The kit also includes two video-out BNC outlets for direct connection to the video recorder, letting you record several split images and a full-format image. This is a portable solution that is extremely well-suited for video monitoring and inspection when you wish to follow different underwater cameras at the same time.
The case has an inbuilt 4500 mAh 12-volt rechargeable battery pack with an operating time of approx. 3 hours. (A battery pack up to 9 mAh can be built in on request.) A 220-volt AC charger is included.
All components are placed in moulded foam.A handy and robust product that can easily be transported to any underwater inspection site.

World Freediving Championships
LH Camera supplied an underwater video system to the 2009 World Indoor Freediving Championships, which took place in a pool. The system comprised a video case with four camera connections. The underwater video cameras were set up in various locations in the pool to allow the spectators to follow the divers on a big screen in the arena.
This new system opens up the possibility of making other watersports more spectator-friendly. Sports such as underwater rugby and elite swimming will gain brand-new perspectives with the use of underwater video cameras.
